Margred Pryce

Film & TV Editor

About

I'm a Film & TV Editor with strong storytelling skills and am currently Editor on a feature animation for Lupus Films. Over the past year, I was an Additional Editor on MGM's documentary feature Cirque du Soleil: Without a Net, and Editor of a short comedy Goodnight Henry for BFI Films/Paisley Films. Since graduating from NFTS in 2020, I have earned broadcast credits on River City for BBC Scotland, Meet the Experts for Boom Cymru/Channel 5 and The Great Auction Showdown with Paul Martin for STV.

Many of the short films I edited have premiered internationally including at Sundance, TIFF, SXSW, Annecy & Aesthetica. In 2021, The Song of a Lost Boy won the Royal Television Society award for Best Postgraduate Animation and was BAFTA–nominated for Best Short Animation. Inside a Marriage was also nominated for an RTS award in 2021 (Best Postgraduate Non-scripted) and won a Special Commendation at the 2020 Grierson Awards (Best Student Documentary). Soft Animals was long-listed for a BIFA Best British Short Film award in 2021.

Originally from South Wales, I'm a fluent Welsh speaker and my route to editing has been via a literature degree and a career in the performing and visual arts.
